Welcome to mistersite.net, home of... well, something unique, I hope. Be sure to check out all those lovely links to the left to see who I am, what I do, and what I like. Read my blog too... it's right under this paragraph. And leave a comment, so I know you've visited.
This project is consuming my very soul.
As you may have read here earlier, my Masters thesis is a documentary film about Kevin's Stations of the Cross... and I'm hoping to have a rough cut done by next Thursday at the latest. I have about 2 hours of footage to shoot still, 14 more hours of footage to capture, and then I have to edit the whole thing into 45 minutes of clean, DVD-quality, well-composed documentary. And I've got a week and a half to do it.
Pray for me... I'll need it.

Nothing really to say.
So it's Thursday night, and I'm bored, and just got back from seeing a band called Honey Pig (a really non-descriptive band name for three gorgeous women, in my opinion). I'm a little buzzed, because I had a beer there and haven't really eaten since lunch. I'm listening to Sigur Ros's new album, which was incredible the first time I heard it and just keeps getting better every time I listen to it.
Just thought I'd let you know.
Here's one Burning Man picture for you... it's us at our Sunday morning Playa Con Dios service, drumming between the Temple and the ashes of the Man. (If you don't know what that means, don't worry.) I'm the one on the right in the fun-fur and pirate hat, the girl in the middle with the green hair is a Swedish girl who joined us, whose name I've forgotten, and the rockstar-looking guy on the left is Dave, Tribe's worship guy, husband of our pastor, drummer in the band I saw tonight, and authentic rockstar.

More pictures to come - along with a full report - when I get a hold of K'Mo and the many many pictures he took.

Burning Man
Wow... just wow.
This thing is seriously going to change my life.
I see now what the experienced burners meant when they said they really couldn't describe the experience of the playa... I'm racking my brain thinking of words I could use, images I could pull, but they wouldn't do the thing justice. Once my friends upload their pictures to their computers, I'll have a choice image or two to share, but even those couldn't come close to the experience I just had.
I'm going to have to process this a bit more and write about it later.
On another note, I've got a really really big decision to make tonight, and I'm really really stressed and hurting over it. I don't usually get personal on here, but please pray for the whole situation, even if I'm not going into details about it.
